What is TS?

SCREENPRO® TS-Color Enhanced Micro Perforated Fabric is built on SL soft light fabric, a material featuring acoustically transparent properties. Designed with advanced precision and cutting-edge technology. Through scientific calculations and extensive testing, micro-holes with a diameter of 0.4mm are uniformly applied to the fabric’s surface, making it the ideal choice for high-end private cinemas of the new generation.

No Image Noise or Hot Spots: Effectively eliminates image noise and flash points (hot spots) while preventing moiré patterns.

SCREENPRO Q&A

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about SCREENPRO TS high gain micro-perforated acoustic transparent fabric, speaker placement, projector compatibility, brightness, cleaning, and installation use.

SCREENPRO: TS is a high gain micro-perforated acoustic transparent projection fabric designed for front projection systems where speakers are placed behind the screen while maintaining strong image brightness.

SCREENPRO: Yes. TS uses a micro-perforated structure that allows sound to pass through the screen surface, helping align dialogue and sound effects with the on-screen image.

SCREENPRO: High gain helps improve perceived brightness, making TS suitable for larger screens, long throw projection setups, and cinema rooms where both image brightness and hidden speaker placement are required.

SCREENPRO: TS can be used with modern high-resolution projectors. Final image texture and perforation visibility depend on screen size, viewing distance, projector resolution, and installation conditions.

SCREENPRO: Micro-perforations are designed to support acoustic transparency. Visibility may vary depending on viewing distance, screen size, projector sharpness, image brightness, and seating position.

SCREENPRO: No. TS is micro-perforated acoustic transparent fabric, while woven acoustic transparent fabric uses a woven structure. TS is often chosen when higher gain and stronger brightness are priorities.

SCREENPRO: TS is mainly recommended for standard throw and long throw front projection systems. For ultra-short-throw laser TV setups, please confirm compatibility with SCREENPRO before ordering.

SCREENPRO: TS is recommended for dedicated cinema rooms, home theaters, media rooms, auditoriums, conference rooms, and commercial AV installations where lighting can be controlled.

SCREENPRO: Yes. TS is suitable for selected fixed frame acoustic transparent screens, especially where front speakers are hidden behind the projection surface.

SCREENPRO: TS may be used with selected tensioned motorized screen systems depending on screen size, structure, installation type, and project requirements. Please confirm with SCREENPRO before ordering.

SCREENPRO: TS is mainly designed for high brightness and acoustic transparency. For RGB triple-laser systems where laser speckle is a key concern, SCREENPRO anti-speckle materials such as 3C or 3W may be more suitable.

SCREENPRO: Black backing may be recommended if reflective surfaces, equipment lights, speakers, or wall reflections are located behind the screen. It helps control rear-side light interference and improves viewing consistency.

SCREENPRO: Use a soft brush for dust removal. If cleaning is required, use a soft cloth with mild soapy liquid or neutral detergent. Avoid rough cloths, sharp objects, strong pressure, acidic detergents, and organic solvents.

SCREENPRO: Yes. Material samples can help evaluate brightness, perforation visibility, acoustic transparency, image texture, projector compatibility, and room suitability before ordering a complete screen.
