Custom Reverse-Roll Motorized Screen with Woven Material

This project features a custom SCREENPRO reverse-roll motorized projection screen with woven projection material, developed for an installation where the conventional screen orientation was not suitable.

By changing the roll direction and screen orientation, the viewing surface can face the required side while the motorized housing remains positioned according to the installation environment.

REVERSE-ROLL CONFIGURATION

When the Viewing Side Needs to Face the Other Direction

In a conventional motorized projection screen, the material unrolls in a predefined direction relative to the housing. However, architectural conditions, mounting position or the required viewing direction may call for a different configuration.

A reverse-roll configuration changes how the projection material exits the housing so that the required viewing surface can face the intended audience or projector position.
